Surrounded by trees and overlooking Cheat Lake, Lakeview Golf Resort and Spa is five miles from West Virginia University, Morgantown, and Cooper's Rock State Forest.
It offers two championship courses: the Mountainview Course winds through the Allegheny Forest and features tight landing areas, scenic views, and gently rolling fairways.
The Lakeview Course features narrow tree-lined fairways. The initial nine holes were built by golf architect James Harrison in 1950. In 1954, nine additional holes were added.
